Can I Use Digital Watch, Bring 4 Pencils & Pencil Sharpener To The Sat Test ?
Posted by Billy in Question & Answerthis seems to be a ridiculous question to ask but..
yea the rules says to only bring 2 pencils.. not at least…
but still it s ridiculuous if they dismiss me for bringing 3 pencils ..
I know there is no mech pencil..
I only have a digital watch like casio sport watch is it ok ?
I mean we could use TI-83 calculators right ? so why not the watch..
how is the break conducted ?
that s 10 mins… can u eat at that time to refill..
can u bring a sandwich.. LOL
is it after 4 sections then break… then continue 3 sects break… last 3 secs and done
is it like that ?
thanks

Two pencils should be plenty, especially if you bring a sharpener. But bring the number of pencils that you need to feel confident. They won’t turn you away for having too many pencils (within reason), but even if they only allowed two pencils, you would simply dump the excess at the door.
I’d suggest borrowing an old watch with hands from your Father or Mother. That way, there will be no question. Those were allowed years ago, and I doubt the rule has changed. What might be a concern for the testers, aside from a watch that is a computer, is a watch that generates chimes on the hour, or has an alarm. This could be disruptive to other students. Obviously, you should not bring a cell phone for these reasons.
Our daughter told us that there was really not much time to do anything on the break. A bathroom break would be first priority. Your adrenaline may be high, so you may not even be hungry, but if you bring food, make it something that won’t make you sleepy or upset your stomach.
LOL
:o)
Yes, you can obviously bring as many pencils as you want. When I gave the SAT, I took 3 pencils with me and I found 2 extra ones already on my desk when I entered the examination hall. They also proved a pencil sharpener, but I suggest that you take one (at least :P) with you for the test.
A sandwich is okay, but avoid eating sweet things in the breaks. I read somewhere that it hampers your ability to concentrate.
When I took the SAT, I actually got 5 minute breaks after answering 2 sections.
Best of luck for your SAT!!
When I took the SATs they told me that anything made a sound or beeped during the test, you would have your test cancelled. So…as long as your watch doesn’t beep every hour, then your are probably good.
It doesn’t matter how many you bring, they are just suggesting that you bring at least two.
Yes, you can bring that calculator.
