i’ve had this casio metal digital display 50m water resistant for 2 years and have basically never took it off. a lot of people say that this is un hygenic but i do wash under my watch in the shower (i only take it of in the shower for about 30 seconds).
i wear it ALL the time, literally, when i sleep and all day. i only take it off about 1 hour a week and that is when i play rugby.
and just recently the watch stopped, it was the battery though as i replaced it and it worked BUT for some reason all the buttons are now jammed in.
i am going to buy a new watch its another casio but dual display and still a metal case and is still 50m resistant. i just want to know whether wearing it all the time even when in water (swimming, baths, showers) will ruin it.

Yes, if water gets inside it it will ruin it. Just take it off while you shower and swim. It will probably feel good to have it off for a little while anyway. If you can live with having it off during rugby you can leave it off for 20 minutes each day for a shower.

Yes wearing it swimming or in the bath or shower will ruin your watch diffently.
