A cheap timex. You don't want to waste money on something that will only get broken or lost. Most guys have a cheap watch with a decent light on it, and that is not reflective. Anything more than that is a waste.

Cheap Timex from the PX with a nylon band also from the PX that had a velcro strap that covered the face so it wouldn't reflect/get scratched up. Still got it, still works too but the band is really gamey smelling now.

i know SF teams can get issued this one watch thats supposedly able to stop a 9mil round (i forget the name, luar or solar or something like that) but they mainly give them to friends who think that they're cool. most of them wear the cheap 15 dollar watches that you get at the PX.
i wore the 15 dollar one for all of my 16 month deployment. it was blown up 4 times, and i cant even count the amount of times it got bashed, slammed, or soaked in anything from blood to water to hydrogen peroxide. got back from deployment over a year ago, and its still working perfect.
keep in mind this is only based off the SF guys that i know.
