Casio Men’s Pathfinder Atomic Solar Digital Watch #PAW1200-3V Customer Review: Almost Perfect I actually enjoy my Sea Pathfinder more. However, this seems to be the land version and I enjoyed the altimeter as I hiked through Volcano National Park. Nothing beats the Atomic Solar watch. Customer Review: drab green color When I ordered the watch , the picture was practically black and white, and there was no mention of the drab green colored band. I was expecting a black or gray band. I looks fine, is good for treking out into the woods, but you might not want to wear it as often because of the color. I have not yet learned all of the features of the watch , but it seems to be easy, though not intuitive. You’ll have to read the instructions.

Customer Review: Best watch I’ve owned… This watch pretty much has it all, as far as I’m concerned. I had an older Pathfinder that was also loaded, but more bulky and awkward than this one. This has a more sleek design and tends to not get caught on my shirts and jackets as easily. The atomic timekeeping is an awesome bonus, as is the solar cell. I received a PAG50-1V for xmas 08, but was awestruck to find out it didn’t have a stopwatch. I did some research and found the 1200 for $30 cheaper (at Botach Tactical) *and* it had a stopwatch, 5 daily alarms, and atomic timekeeping. The only minor negative comments about this watch are 1) that it doesn’t display the date and day at the same time (have to toggle between them) and 2) that if you are on a function like stopwatch, clicking the “mode” button doesn’t automatically go back to the main time screen - this is how my older watch worked, and I found it useful. But hey, if that’s the worst I can say about this watch, it must be pretty awesome. Highly recommended if you like the weather gadgets and don’t mind the extra bulk (it doesn’t bother me one bit).

Casio Men’s Pathfinder Solar Digital Watch #PAG70T-7V Customer Review: Not a Suunto Got this as a more attractive alternative to my Suunto Advisor. I really like the way it looks, but the function is no way near as advanced as my Suunto. Declination cannot be set for your location, and the altimeter is not as accurate. I had to remove 4 links from the band. And like someone else, the band does not pull my arm hair, a big plus. This will not travel with me when backpacking; it is kinda heavy at 3.4oz (my Suunto is 2oz). Customer Review: casio Altimeter is real cool. I’m thrilled. BTW it says in the instructions not for a plane, so reasonable expectations here people this wont replace your airplanes instruments LOL !! Compass can be used inside the car as well as the Altimeter. Drove to the Grand Canyon and watched it tick off at 20ft increments, gave me the compass heading and alt continuously. Overall, would buy again AND tell all to buy it, John

Casio Women’s Pathfinder PAL100L-5V Thermometer 100 Meter Water Resistant Trifold Leather Band Watch Thermometer function, The built-in Thermo Sensor measures and displays the current temperature every 2 minutes, Auto Light Switch function, Simply tilting your wrist illuminates the EL Backlight for about 2 seconds, Thermometer, Measuring range: -4 F to 140 F (-20 C to 60 C), Display unit: 0.2 F (0.1 C), *Switcable between Fahrenheit ( F) and Celsius ( C), Electro-luminescent backlight, Auto light switch, Low temperature resistant (-4 F/-20 C), 100m water resistant Customer Review: Casio Women’s Pathfinder I give it 4 stars because its a nice ladies watch, BUT don’t be fooled into thinking this watch has a compass, altimeter, or barometer. It only has a temperature reading, which is adversely effected by WEARING the watch, and a cool back-light system that can be activated by turning your wrist.

Customer Review: New Watch Does everything the product description said it would. It even gets its calibration signals even though the Manual warned that it may not due to our location. I’m very pleased. Customer Review: Just what I was looking for! So far so good. No problem receiving the atomic time updates and after calibrating, I get good results from the compass, atlimeter. My favorite function is the barometer which has proven very reliable in predicting rainy conditions 12-24 hours in advance. Like many reviewers have mentioned….body heat does affect the temperature, so if you want the true temperature you need to take to watch off for about 20 minutes. I have found that I can estimate the temperature within 1 or 2 degrees by monitoring the differential between the actual temperature and the temperature shown on the watch while I am wearing it. In almost all cases during normal use, the watch tempurature is exactly 20 degrees higher than the actual temperature. There are so many other functions that I have yet to become familiar with. I would recommend this watch to other hikers, and to gadget geeks for daily use.

Customer Review: works well This watch had everything I wanted on it. Have used it from the Tetons to the Rockies and it has worked well. I like the tilt to illuminate when driving. I really have no complaint about the watch. Thought the price was good. Customer Review: Good watch, disappointing titanium band. The watch is attractive and so far seems to be functioning well. Here in the mid-west the watch has no problems receiving the atomic clock radio signal. The manual is well-written and the various features are pretty easy to use.
