I use this as my every day watch and I get compliments from both men and women. Often people don’t think to look at Amazon for the items they are looking for. Customer Review: Came to me USED
It would have been fine if it was not a return. After noticing small nicks and scratches I found a “Mystic Mints” candy wrapper used as a bookmark in the manual. Other than that I’m sure it would’ve been a fine watch but I immediately sent it back and called customer service and received a full credit. Shame on amazon for not inspecting it more carefully. Their customer service was however quick and painless. I own two other Wavecepter watches and would have given this one five stars…

Atomic watches are highly-accurate quartz watches which are synchronized each day with a time signal broadcast in the U.S. from the definitive U.S. Atomic Clock in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Thus, all atomic watches are always accurate to within a fraction of a second at any time. Since atomic watches adjust automaticaly to and from daylight saving time they are convenient as well as highly accurate. Casio makes — and Amazon sells — a wide selection of styles of atomic watches to suit various needs and tastes, including G-Shock watches for extra ruggedness and solar-powered watches which never need replacement batteries. But all atomic watches, including this Waveceptor model, are equally accurate to a fraction of a second at all times. If you want an attractive watch that is always accurate, this model is a real bargain.

Customer Review: Radio controlled watches from third party supplier.
I refused delivery on this watch. This was the third radio controlled watch that I ordered. I could not get the either one of the first two watches previosly ordered to work properly. I ended up paying the freight for the return of both watches, and did’nt want to take a chance with the third one, so I refused delivery. From now on I will not order from a third party supplier of Amazon. It makes me suspicious of the quality when not purchased directly from Amazon.

Customer Review: Great time keeper, decent style, low price, low-price feel…
I bought this watch because it looked sharp to me on Amazon’s website and caught my eye. I received it and liked the looks, still very sharp. The only disappointment (slight) was how light the watch felt and somewhat “cheap”. The case is very light, it feels like plastic coated with metal finish. It seemed lighter than it should given the bulky thickness and size of the watch. The band material is metal, but it too had a light-weight feel and sound. Overall no one would know it wears and feels like a digital watch by looking at it. It keeps good time and I like the “techie” feature that it synchs with the time signal (so it’s always right). I suppose that’s why it must be plastic, to receive the signal. If you want a dressy looking watch that keeps great time for low money, this is it. If you’re giving it as a gift, buy something that won’t feel quite as “cheap”, still a decent watch though.

You cannot get more watch accuracy for the price with the built-in WWV time signal reception. Also quite light weight by current watch standards.

I have to concur with all the positives that people have written about this little gem. What I will emphasize is the size of the watch. Most G Shock, solar, atomic timed watches sit with a lot of bulk on your wrist. Too much bulk to be comfortable. But this watch is smaller sized.

The watch itself is great. This is my second watch like this and they cant seem to make any improvements on the band. there is no middle ground for the sizing. Its to tight or to loose. Pins won’t last long.
