I just purchased the Casio MTG910Da-1v and I absolutely love it! I have been a huge G shock fan for awhile, and have progressed to atomic solar. I initially started looking at the Oceanus line and the higher end MTG Analog and/or Ana-digi atomic solar watches. Those were all a bit pricey for my tastes. I wanted something with a metal band and with the raised bezel so it keeps the crystal protected. This watch fit the bill and was substantially less in price!

 Casio Men’s G-Shock Geiz Series Multi-Band Solar Atomic Watch #GS1100-1A This Casio men’s G-Shock watch has a classic analog display but is filled with high-tech features. The stainless steel case is shock resistant and houses a black dial that has white dashes for indexes. Three sub-dials provide chronograph functionality, and there is a date window between the four and five o’clock positions. This watch is pretty nice except for having to face it directly toward the sunlight as much as possible. That’s the only annoyance. I am sure that you dont constantly have to do this, but its always nagging in the back of my mind. The watch looks sharp and is just the right size.

After doing weeks of research on watches this was my final choice. Its a great watch! I would recommend it to those in need of a durable, stylish watch. No complaints here. The only thing i wish it had was a luminecent light. The hands glow, but trying to tell what time it is difficult in the dark because you cant see the face.

This is my all time favorite watch.. The time update works very well. I leave the watch in a good signal location when I go to bed.
To me, the plastic band is uncomfortable, so I changed to a leather band and feels much better… The battery has a long life.

Watch battery lasted 3 months and when jeweler installed new one it could not be re set, he refused to try any more, and it could not be set automatically by satellite either. Re setting manually is impossible since watch does not respond as instructions say.
The band is really nice with a quick release clasp. Installed it on a Luminox watch with a rubber band. Improved it 100%.
Future atomic watch purchases will be in the distant future when they have it sorted out.Until then , battery power.
Customer Review: Agree, nice basic watch
I see some people have complained about how basic this watch is but keep in mind this is a $30 atomic analog watch. I used it for four months straight while my Omega was being serviced and it performed fine. Being in the US northeast like my other atomic clock and watches, it doesn’t sync every night but was fine when I put it near a window where my other watches sync ok. In fact when my Omega arrived and I started to wear it, I missed this Casio because I have to set the Omega, an automatic, about once a week. This Casio is a little bit thick but I didn’t notice it and it is lightweight. I certainly would buy this again and still wear it sometimes on the weekend.

Customer Review: G-Shock Solar Atomic Watch #GW700A-9V
I have had this watch for about a month and it is great!! Everything you would expect from a G-Shock. Even for its big size it fits comfortably on my wrist, I weigh a 150 Lbs so my wrists are quite small and since it is so comfortable I usually don’t even know I’m wearing it. The EL Display works great and the auto backlight is a great feature. It syncs with the atomic clock in Denver every evening and I have checked the time with the atomic clock on the internet and it is within spec (+/- 0.05 seconds) when I check it :-). Great looking watch that will last you a long time and the display has excellent protection from scratches, you would really have to go out of your way to do some damage to it. The charge indicator has always been HIGH since I have recieved it, granted I live in Phoenix Az where it’s sunny almost every day, and it even goes to sleep with you at night (Display shuts off to save battery life). Great watch, great price and looks and feels awesome - I don’t believe you will be disappointed in the purchase of this watch.
Customer Review: Nice - for the short time before the battery died
It’s a nice watch and I like the solar concept. But the supposedly “back-up” battery died after only a few months. What’s the point of the solar power if it’s not enough to actually power the watch unless you’re in direct sunlight almost all day long?

It is very Excellent. It has lot of features which I didn’t thought of all, when I purchased it. I am using it since 2.5 yrs, and it is really great. Its very easy to change the time when you move across time zones. Best thing is it automatically changes the time according to Day Lite Savings which got changed in the year 2007.

In almost every way a very good looking,accurate time piece.
Easy to set up and easy band adjustment.
However the window frame encases a plastic,not a mineral crystal lens. Plastic is a polymer, not a mineral.
This was a disappointing feature since it is very easily marred.

I’m a stickler for exact time. This does that. The watch is simple and clean. The only thing you have to set is the time zone and that is ease to do. I much prefer analog watches. Removing the extra links in the band was very easy. The clasp hold well and the releases easily to remove. The price is very reasonable. The dial glows nice a bright when dark.
