The Seiko 7002 is a highly collectable diver?s watch that was replaced by the SKX line in 1996. The Seiko dive watch SKX173 is the latest in the SKX line and is virtually identical to the recent 7002 model. The only discernible variation in these models is the date display. If you take a peek closer however you will see that a cool new feature of the SKX173 is the auto-winding apparatus meaning you will by no means have to buy a battery for this watch. In most cases you will not be able to locate new vintage Seiko diver?s watches 7002 but you can obtain used ones on any popular auction site. Unless you are a Seiko dive watch collector you will most likely rather have a new one, particularly if the watch is intended to be a gift. The 7002 was a wonderful model but if you want a new improved 7002 then I would recommend looking into the Seiko watches SKX173. The Seiko SKX173 is just like the 7002 in appearance but has all the latest up to date gadgets that you want in this generation of Seiko diver?s watches. The SKX173 is continually receiving rave reviews and is living up to being another great watch that will last for generations to come. If, however, you love the classic Seiko dive watch style but can not afford spending the $300 price tag there are other options available to you. Casio as well as Citizen make some very simular watches that are idea for divers as well. They have the same classic style and a cheaper price tags at around $50 for the Casio and $150 for the Citizen. Both of these simular models can be found at the link below. I am looking to buy authentic and genuine Seiko, Casio and Citizen watches at wholesale prices in Singapore? It has to come with original boxes and papers.

Customer Review: Great Watch Watch is great. My husband’s favorite! We keep replacing it every couple of years to the same watch.. Customer Review: Nice classic design This is a lovely old design, a near copy of a 70s-era Seiko I wore for years. Unfortunately, this watch is not waterproof, only water resistant. If it were not for that, I would make it my daily companion. The face and window are quite readable, the light solves the problem I remember from that old Seiko, and changing modes is fairly easy, although not like other Casios I have had in recent years.

I decided a few months ago that I needed an another wrist watch in addition to my Seiko. I didn’t really want to spend much, I just needed something that was going to be simple, easy to read, included a few basic functions (stopwatch, alarm, light, 24hr time etc.), but most of all was CLASSIC!

The five multi-function alarms with snooze capabilities make this watch especially ideal for a busy lifestyle and multiple time zones. This watch also features a countdown timer, 1/100 second stopwatch capabilities, and LED light afterglow illumination. The durable black resin band, bezel and case create a sleek and sporty look. This long-lasting watch comes with a 10-year battery, offers water resistance up to 165 feet, and is backed by a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. Customer Review: A Great Watch I’ve purchased this watch 3 times. It is such a good watch that when the previous 2 broke over the years, I bought replacement. The first one’s band broke as others have stated…this “resin” band doesn’t like to bend repeatedly. About 3 years of daily wear snapped the band. My second unit accidentally served as a teething ring for my 10-month old and I think he jammed/cracked one of the face buttons. I took the watch apart to try and fix and ended up tossing it. This is not a G-shock Casio but for $17 it really does it all. I have a small collection of watches ranging from an expensive Japanese domestic market Seiko Chronograph to a colorful G-Shock Casio but I wear this lightweight, simple watch 99% of the time. Why 4 stars? Casio needs to make a more durable band. It’s obviously part of their planned-obsolesence marketing strategy. Customer Review: good watch, great price the watch is generally a good one, it all depends on how long the band last, i’ve had it for 2 months.
