Casio Men’s Atomic Waveceptor Blue Dial Watch #VQ200HDA-2BVCF Customer Review: Terrible Excellent band Poor watch Explanation…………….. Watch battery lasted 3 months and when jeweler installed new one it could not be re set, he refused to try any more, and it could not be set automatically by satellite either. Re setting manually is impossible since watch does not respond as instructions say. The band is really nice with a quick release clasp. Installed it on a Luminox watch with a rubber band. Improved it 100%. Future atomic watch purchases will be in the distant future when they have it sorted out.Until then , battery power. Customer Review: Agree, nice basic watch I see some people have complained about how basic this watch is but keep in mind this is a $30 atomic analog watch. I used it for four months straight while my Omega was being serviced and it performed fine. Being in the US northeast like my other atomic clock and watches, it doesn’t sync every night but was fine when I put it near a window where my other watches sync ok. In fact when my Omega arrived and I started to wear it, I missed this Casio because I have to set the Omega, an automatic, about once a week. This Casio is a little bit thick but I didn’t notice it and it is lightweight. I certainly would buy this again and still wear it sometimes on the weekend.

Casio Men’s Atomic Waveceptor Black Dial Watch #VQ200HDA-1BVCF Sleekly styled with the lines of a classic timepiece, this silver-tone Casio Atomic Waveceptor stainless steel men’s analog/digital watch is a great match for professional couture and will keep you on time for important meetings. It’s very precise thanks to its atomic time updating features, which receives a time calibration signal transmitted via radio signals from Fort Collins, Colorado. Signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal several times a day, or manually update the Waveceptor to the atomic clock. This watch is accurate to +/- 20 seconds per month with no atomic signal update.
The round case is topped with a circular, polished bezel with black engraved elapsed time markings, and the case is further highlighted with screw-down accents. The black dial face includes large luminous markers and Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, luminous skeleton hands (with seconds hand), and small minute indexes ringing around the exterior. It also offers a digital date window at 3 o’clock, which can also display the day as well as world time from 24 time zones. It’s matched to a stainless steel bracelet band that mixes links with satin and polished finishes. Other features include an auto-calendar pre-programmed to 2098, a battery life of approximately 2 years, and water resistance to 50 meters–suitable for swimming but not for diving. Customer Review: Came to me USED It would have been fine if it was not a return. After noticing small nicks and scratches I found a “Mystic Mints” candy wrapper used as a bookmark in the manual. Other than that I’m sure it would’ve been a fine watch but I immediately sent it back and called customer service and received a full credit. Shame on amazon for not inspecting it more carefully. Their customer service was however quick and painless. I own two other Wavecepter watches and would have given this one five stars… Customer Review: Accurate to less than a second at all times Atomic watches are highly-accurate quartz watches which are synchronized each day with a time signal broadcast in the U.S. from the definitive U.S. Atomic Clock in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Thus, all atomic watches are always accurate to within a fraction of a second at any time. Since atomic watches adjust automaticaly to and from daylight saving time they are convenient as well as highly accurate. Casio makes — and Amazon sells — a wide selection of styles of atomic watches to suit various needs and tastes, including G-Shock watches for extra ruggedness and solar-powered watches which never need replacement batteries. But all atomic watches, including this Waveceptor model, are equally accurate to a fraction of a second at all times. If you want an attractive watch that is always accurate, this model is a real bargain.

It has lot of features which I didn’t thought of all, when I purchased it. I am using it since 2.5 yrs, and it is really great. Its very easy to change the time when you move across time zones. Best thing is it automatically changes the time according to Day Lite Savings which got changed in the year 2007. Customer Review: Bought as Christmas Gift Bought this watch for my husband Christmas 2006. He is typically very hard on watches and goes through several a year. So far this watch has been fantastic. He loves it and that means I love it!

Casio Men’s Waveceptor Atomic Watch #VQ200HA-1AV The Casio Waveceptor men’s atomic watch (WVQ200HA-1AV) combines powerful style with technologically advanced timepiece features. This radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal (once per day at 1 AM) or manually update the Waveceptor to the atomic clock.
This Waveceptor has sleek, silver stainless steel case that’s topped with a highly polished bezel with engraved elapsed time markings. It also has an analog dial, with black face and full Arabic numeral display. Other features include large luminous hands (with yellow seconds hand), military time markings, and a digital date function at 3 o’clock (with autocalendar to the year 2039). This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM, 330 feet), suitable for recreational snorkeling. It’s completed by a durable, comfortable black resin strap. Customer Review: Works well, not expensive. I get good reception with this watch. I have two radio controlled wall clocks and neither gets a reliable signal unless they are mounted on a specific wall. This watch has not failed to receive the signal in the three weeks I’ve had it even though I have not been too careful about where I leave it at night. The bezel around the outside is just molded/painted on. It doesn’t rotate, but I did not expect it to for this price. Customer Review: A little improvement needed Notice I said a little improvement. The instructions on how to set the watch are some what hard to understand. It took me a few tries before I got it. Also I live in Hawaii and there is no HST setting on the watch and we can’t receive the atomic signal here. I think these thins should be noted in the description. Other than that it seems to be a very good watch, it keeps great time without the signal.

Casio Men’s Waveceptor Atomic Solar Watch #VA510A-1AV Customer Review: Excellent value Pros:
* All the features you could want (except countdown timer) * Solar power is great. Haven’t had it in the sun much, but it is still holding the half-charge it had when I received it * Easily sets itself from Atomic clock each night - no need to leave in window or do anything special (I’m in the Washington, DC area) * Looks pretty nice - not like those hideous cheaper Casio watches that also set themselves. I’m wearing it every day.

Casio Men’s Atomic Waveceptor Two-Tone Watch #WVQ202HSGA-1AV Customer Review: One unfortunate mistake in Product Description In almost every way a very good looking, accurate time piece. Easy to set up and easy band adjustment. However the window frame encases a plastic, not a mineral crystal lens. Plastic is a polymer, not a mineral. This was a disappointing feature since it is very easily marred. Customer Review: Classy and accurate I’m a stickler for exact time. This does that. The watch is simple and clean. The only thing you have to set is the time zone and that is ease to do. I much prefer analog watches. Removing the extra links in the band was very easy. The clasp hold well and the releases easily to remove. The price is very reasonable. The dial glows nice a bright when dark.

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM, 330 feet), suitable for recreational snorkeling. It’s completed by a durable, comfortable black resin strap. Customer Review: Casio Men’s Waveceptor Atomic Watch The watch works and looks great. It’s easy to use and great if you travel a lot between time zones. I like it better than many of my more expensive watches. Customer Review: Radio controlled watches from third party supplier. I refused delivery on this watch. This was the third radio controlled watch that I ordered. I could not get the either one of the first two watches previosly ordered to work properly. I ended up paying the freight for the return of both watches, and did’nt want to take a chance with the third one, so I refused delivery. From now on I will not order from a third party supplier of Amazon. It makes me suspicious of the quality when not purchased directly from Amazon.

Customer Review: Big problem I like the watch and it works well but I can’t use it because the plastic band broke after I had it just a few days and I don’t know how to replace it. Customer Review: Quintessential Digital Watch I think this watch bangs a lot for the buck. The atomic feature doesn’t seem to work well in my home of Arlington, VA but it does seem to work a little better in Connecticut. The watch looks sharp and I love wearing it.
